The 2025 Lansing mayoral election in Lansing, Michigan, will be held on November 4, 2025. Incumbent mayor Andy Schor is running for re-election to a third term. Schor, a Democrat, was first elected in 2017 and re-elected in 2021. The primary election took place on August 5, and saw "the biggest turnout this century for a mayoral primary election."[1]
Schor placed first with 63 percent of the vote. Kelsea Hector, an LGBT rights advocate, placed second with 16 percent and advanced to the general election against Schor.[2]
