Armağan is a village in the Ardeşen District, Rize Province, in Black Sea Region of Turkey.[1] Its population is 487 (2021).[2]
History
According to list of villages in Laz language book (2009), name of the village is Salonç'uri or Salinçoy, which means "the lower peasant". Most villagers are ethnically Laz.[3]
Geography
The village is located 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) away from Ardeşen.
