Alkalihalobacillus hemicentroti is a Gram-positive, moderately halophilic, facultatively alkaliphilic, endospore-forming, facultatively anaerobic and non-motile bacterium from the genus of Alkalihalobacillus which has been isolated from a sea urchin (Hemicentrotus pulcherrimus) from the Naozhou Island.[1][3][2]
