Bierdzany [bjɛrˈd͡zanɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Turawa, within Opole County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 10 km (6 mi) north-east of Turawa and 23 km (14 mi) north-east of the regional capital Opole. The famous Berlin rabbi and civil rights leader Joachim Prinz was born in there.
