Brzostki [ˈbʐɔstki] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Pieniężno, within Braniewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 km (3 mi) north-west of Pieniężno, 22 km (14 mi) south-east of Braniewo, and 58 km (36 mi) north-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.
History
The suffix -hagen of the historic village name is typical for settlements founded by Germans during Medieval Ostsiedlung.[2]
