Chand is a village and corresponding community development block in Kaimur district, Bihar, India. As of 2011, its population was 4,432, in 700 households. The total block population was 133,682 in 20,413 households.^[2] The population here is mainly based on agriculture.Chand is a market for the nearby villages.

As of 2011, the sex ratio of Chand block was 921 females to every 1000 males. Among the 0-6 age group, the sex ratio was 934.
