Ermak Kardanov (Russian: Ермак Казбекович Карданов, born 16 October 1997) is a Russian-born Slovak freestyle wrestler of Ossetian origin. He won a bronze medal in the men's 92 kg event at the 2023 European Wrestling Championships held in Zagreb, Croatia.
Career
He is a graduate of the North Ossetian wrestling school. In December 2021, he was awarded the title of Master of Sports of Russia.[1] In February 2022, he became the wrestling champion of Moscow.[2]
In 2023, he began representing Slovakia internationally. On 19 April 2023, he defeated Israeli wrestler Matthew Finesilver in the bronze medal match at the 2023 European Wrestling Championships in Zagreb.[3]
