Han Shiqian (Chinese: 韩世谦; January 1935 – 8 December 2007) was a major general in the People's Liberation Army of China. He was a delegate to the 8th National People's Congress.
Biography
Han was born in Ding County (now Dingzhou), Hebei, in January 1935.[1]
Han enlisted in the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in January 1951, and joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in October 1958.[1] He attained the rank of major general (shaojiang) in September 1988.[1] He became commander of the Hebei Military District in June 1990, and served until January 1995.[1]
On 8 December 2007, Han died in Beijing, at the age of 72.[1]
