John Patrick A. Hooper (born 13 December 1934) is an Irish sailor. He competed at both the 1960 Summer Olympics and the 1964 Summer Olympics.[1] In the 1960 Olympics, Hooper raced in the Flying Dutchman class with Peter Gray and secured Ireland's first win in an Olympic sailing race, finishing 10th overall in the competition.[2][3] In 1964, Hooper competed in the single-handed Finn class, finishing 23rd overall.[3]
