Keeley Kustermann
Keeley Kustermann (born 17 April 2004) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Adelaide Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW). A versatile utility, she was recruited from West Adelaide Football Club in the SANFL Women's League and was selected by Adelaide with pick No. 40 in the 2022 AFL Women's draft.

Early life and junior career
Kustermann grew up in South Australia and displayed notable athleticism as an 800-metre runner before focusing on football.[1] She began playing Aussie rules at **Mitchell Park Football Club**, progressed through the Goodwood Saints, and played for West Adelaide in the SANFLW.[2]
In 2022, Kustermann captained South Australia’s under-18 team to an unbeaten haul in the AFLW Under-18 Championships, earning a place in the All-Australian side.[2] She also featured strongly in the SANFLW for West Adelaide and earned selection in the SANFLW Team of the Year.[1]
SANFLW career
Kustermann debuted in the SANFL Women's League as a teenager, initially playing off half-back before adding midfield roles to her game. She was known for her “clean by hand” play, strong decision-making, and versatility.[3]
AFLW career
Adelaide selected Kustermann with pick No. 40 in the 2022 AFLW draft.[1] She made her AFLW debut for the Crows in Season 7, Round 7 (2022), and by the end of the **2024** season had accumulated **12 AFLW matches**.[4]
Playing style
A former state-level 800 m runner, Kustermann brings endurance and athleticism to her game. She is effective across half-back, as a winger, and through the midfield, valued for her “penetrating kick,” versatility, and ball use under pressure.[1][2]
Personal life
Kustermann is the youngest of four siblings and enjoys holidaying at Marion Bay. She is a long-distance running enthusiast and said her dream job would be to be a firefighter.[5]
