Lake Käsmu is a lake Lake Käsmu is a lake in the village of Eru, Haljala municipality, Lääne-Viru County, Estonia. Käsmu lake is located on the southern edge of the Käsmu peninsula in northern Estonia.
The lake has a surface area of about 43 hectares with an average of 2m in depth.[2] Vegetation is large in terms of the number of species: there are 22 types of macrophytes.
