- Jerry Siegel — Co-creator, writer. Co-created several secondary characters including Jor-El and Lara Lor-Van,[1] Lois Lane, George Taylor, Ultra-Humanite, Lex Luthor, Perry White, Jimmy Olsen, Jonathan and Martha Kent,[2] Superboy,[3] Prankster,[4] Mister Mxyzptlk[5] (and later Ms. Gsptlsnz),[6] Brainiac 5,[7] Lena Luthor,[8] and several members of both the Legion of Super-Heroes and the Legion of Super-Pets, among others.[9]
- Joe Shuster — Co-creator, artist. Co-created several secondary characters including Lois Lane, Lex Luthor, Perry White, Jimmy Olsen, Jonathan and Martha Kent, Jor-El, Lara Lor-Van, Superboy, Mister Mxyzptlk, and George Taylor, among others.[10]
