Maple Grove is an unincorporated community in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia, located in East Hants Municipality in Hants County.[1][2] The community was named for a prominent stand of maple trees in the area.[3]
On February 8th, 1813, Alexander Patterson received a land grant of 500 acres in Maple Grove along with James Dennison who received 250 acres. A school was built in Maple Grove in 1936.[3]
