Matei Cristian Ilie (born 11 December 2002) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Liga I club CFR Cluj.
Club career
Padova
He made his Serie C debut on 10 September 2022 in a game against Vicenza.[1] On 1 September 2023, Ilie's contract with Padova was terminated by mutual consent.[2]
CFR Cluj
On 5 September 2023, Ilie signed with CFR Cluj.[3]
Personal life
His father, Constantin, was also a professional footballer.[4]
