Newland is a hamlet and civil parish in the county of North Yorkshire, England. According to the 2011 UK census Newland parish had a population of 202,[1] an increase on the 2001 UK census figure of 198.[2]
Until 1974 it was part of the West Riding of Yorkshire.[3] From 1974 to 2023 it was part of the district of Selby, it is now administered by the unitary North Yorkshire Council.
