"Now I Know" is a single by Jack Jones, released in May 1967.[2]
Overview
Jones' version peaked at No. 73 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 3 on the Easy Listening chart.[3] It got #43 on AC chart's year-end Top 50 list.[4] On another American chart magazine, Cash Box, the single reached No. 74.[5] After his next single, Our Song did well on the charts, he recorded an album with the same name, which included "Now I Know".
Eddie Fisher's version
After the modest success with People Like You, Eddie Fisher recorded "Now I Know" with "I Haven't Got Anything Better to Do" as the B-side, (the B-side appeared on his album People Like You) in 1967.[6] William Ruhlmann of AllMusic comments that "People Like You" barely registered on the pop charts, and that "Now I Know" got even less attention in the spring.[7] It was his last single that charted, and his recording career basically came to an end, with him only recording a tribute album You Ain't Heard Nothin' Yet the next year. The song reached #23 on the AC chart, and didn't appear on the Hot 100.[8]
