Saccostomus is a genus of rodent in the family Nesomyidae, or pouched mice. They have pouches in their cheeks. The genus contains the following species:
- South African pouched mouse (Saccostomus campestris)
- Mearns's pouched mouse (Saccostomus mearnsi)
