Pterodon emarginatus (Portuguese: sucupira-branca) is a Brazilian legume of the Cerrado.[3] Widely distributed in the west of Minas Gerais and in Goiás, Brazil, the fruit oil of this plant is used to deter skin penetration by Schistosome cercariae.
