The Rocket Classic is a professional golf tournament in Michigan on the PGA Tour at Detroit Golf Club. It debuted in 2019, replacing the Quicken Loans National on the PGA Tour schedule,[1] and is the first PGA Tour event to be held completely within the Detroit city limits.[1][2]
For the 2019 season, the event was part of the Open Qualifying Series, giving two non-exempt players entry into The Open Championship at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland.
