{{cite news}}: Missing or empty|title=(help) - ^ This is the cast list as it appeared in a New York Times review on 1 September 1896. A playbill lists the character of George Minifle as played by Grahame Henderson; Joseph Humphreys was the Empire's stage manager, and probably stood in Henderson's place.
