Ruszajny [ruˈʂai̯nɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Barczewo, within Olsztyn County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 km (2 mi) north-east of Barczewo and 17 km (11 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
History
The suffix -hagen of the historic village name is typical for settlements founded by Germans during Medieval Ostsiedlung.[2]
