Säve is a locality situated in Gothenburg Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It had 743 inhabitants in 2010.[1]
The origin of the name Säve is the Old Swedish word "sjöe" (Modern Swedish "sjö"), meaning "lake".
