Słoszów [ˈswɔʂuf] German: Roms) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szczytna, within Kłodzko County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 km (4 mi) west of Szczytna, 21 km (13 mi) west of Kłodzko, and 93 km (58 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław.
History
The town was colonized by Germans in the Middle Ages. Its German name Roms likely refers to the place Rommerz in Hesse.[2]
