Plot
It's the story Wilson Lander who will find himself dragged on a pirate ship by an attractive woman, Cricket. He will live many adventures.[1]
Reception
Paula Friedman of the New York Times felt that Girardi's "rendering of [the pirate island] is lush and commanding, despite the horror it reveals."[2]
