Turtle Lake is a lake in Beltrami County, Minnesota, in the United States.[1]
The outline of the lake roughly resembles a turtle, hence the name.[2]
The lake became John Van Bruggen’s inspiration for the turtle lake in Franklin and the Turtle Lake Treasure.
