Xylophanes aristor is a moth of the family Sphingidae. It is known from Guatemala to Venezuela, Ecuador and probably Colombia.[2]
Adults are probably on wing year-round.
The larvae probably feed on Psychotria panamensis, Psychotria nervosa and Pavonia guanacastensis.
