Zachariah Nicholovos is the Metropolitan of Northeast American Diocese of Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. He was excommunicated from the Syriac Orthodox Church by Patriarch Ignatius Zakka I in December 2001, which led him to join the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church.[1][2]
