Mesechinus is a genus of hedgehogs. It contains five species from East Asia:[2]
- Daurian hedgehog (Mesechinus dauuricus)
- Hugh's hedgehog (Mesechinus hughi)
- Gaoligong forest hedgehog (Mesechinus wangi)
- Small-toothed forest hedgehog (Mesechinus miodon)
- Eastern forest hedgehog (Mesechinus orientalis)
