Pernes (French pronunciation: [pɛʁn]; or Pernes-en-Artois) is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Hauts-de-France region of France[3] between Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise and Lillers. It is crossed by the river Clarence.
